Parents are regarded as the first teachers who transfer fundamental education to children. Although some people claim that knowledge values, perception and morality provided by parents are insufficient to develop children’s cognitive development, others believe that parents are the best instructors. Clearly, due to the greatly important of emotional support and most influential people, parents are certainly the best teachers. Thesis
Due to the increased demand for family support, parents may spend a great deal of time working rather than staying at home doing household chores and taking care children. An example of this can be found in developed nations. Children are sent to nursery schools when they get the age of three up whereas their parents spend valuable time at work. This indicates that parents do not have sufficient time to educate children. Furthermore, some parents certainly do not possess formal training or academic education background which cannot be utilized to educate children in effective way. Therefore, in many cases parents may not the best teachers.
It can be argued that children are predominantly influenced since they were young. Consequently, their attitudes and behaviors are considerably shaped by parents who are the most influential. If they are not provided with practical and theoretical concepts, they cannot develop their perceptions as well as broaden horizons at higher education. Clearly, when children are instilled with an open-minded attitude and a better environment, the better opportunity and achievement they will have at schools regarding their prospects. An example of this case can be found in modern society. Though parents are hectic with their work, they still spend time with children to provide good advice, emotional and financial supports. It is clear that children learn best through exposure that is why their first teachers are parents who play critical roles to condition their behaviors. Thus, parents essentially implant children with perception and values.
In conclusion, due to the predominant influence and significant roles of parents, they are certainly the best instructors.

IELTS Writing Task 2
Topic: The idea of having a single career is becoming an old fashioned one. The new fashion will be to have several careers or ways of earnings money and further education will be something that continues throughout life.
As technological advancement becomes global, the perception of career development also changes. Some people say that long life comes with job stability while others argue that having several careers and further education may allow flexibility in the changing workplace. Clearly, due to higher self-fulfillment and social needs, the new fashion may involve several career prospects.
It may have positive perspectives to possess a single career for some professions. An example of this is a medical career. It is tough to abandon this profession which involves more than seven years of study in order to embark another one instead. Another benefit of a single profession is that the repeated work performance can result in effective and efficient outcomes. Also, work can be effectively performed due to expertise and practical experience. Therefore, fruitful and potent results of work may be gained through life career.
However, some types of jobs gradually disappear over decades due to the enormous changes of technology. For example, robots have replaced factory assembly labour in the automobile industry. Also, ATMs are now available which result in losing some involved positions. This indicates that even the expertise of a particular skill is no longer safe; consequently new skills and further education are potentially to keep pace with the advancement of technological breakthroughs. Similarly, travel agencies and retail stores have gone online and those who used to perform these jobs have been faced with a mid-life career changes. Competition has increased, and small businesses have been occupied by large corporations that are often multinationals. Thus, it is essential to upgrade new skills to advance lifestyle as technology changes.
In conclusion, there are many advantages for life through career upgrading which broader practical skills and horizon of perspectives can be learnt.
